New York, I love you.

I don't even know where to start, New York. I miss it. I really liked the feeling there. Just the constant hum of something. Always something to do. Something to see. Somewhere to be.

One of our favorite spots was Soho. Some of the best shopping, Aloha Rag, Opening Ceremony, Topshop and Bloomies.... just to name a few. I got a super rad Erin Wasson for RVCA jacket, I will post pictures of it. I was got it from Opening Ceremony where they are very sweet, they have so much stuff in there, if I had struck gold before I left, I would have spent a big chunk of it there. Same goes for Aloha Rag. Some truley amazing pieces in there, and the best staff to boot. I got some amazing Maria Rudman bracelets from there, they have such a  great selection.

The weather was great, we had a day of rain and the rest was really great, so warm! We went to the Met and the natural history museum. Tried to get tickets for David Letterman, who knew it was a lottery you had to enter to get tickets. We didn't get picked, which we were bummed about, but it was on Thursday, which was Fashion's Night Out, so I was happy to be able to have more time to get ready, for what really was the highlight of a trip. I will talk more of that in a bit....

New York Fashion Week

If you can believe it, I was in New York during Fashion Week, sadly not lucky enough to be inside the shows, but could still feel the vibe and buzz in the city. I have been looking on blogs and style sites to see all the love that went in and outside of the tents. Here are a  few of my favorite things...

Oh my NYC, oh my...

Wow.

Just got back from New York this morning early in the am. Super tired, still, just finished unpacking and refilling of the refrigerator..my head still spinning from the whole trip, the whole experience...

I am going to be posting pictures through the week and some video too... and I will write more as the week goes on...My boyfriend and I had the most amazing 12 days, everyday was fantastic. My feet are soooo sore, I think my ankles may be swollen, but all the walking was worth it...so worth it. We were there for Fashion's Night out, which was on the 10th and was amazing, I can't even begin to explain what that experience was. We started our night out at Aloha Rag, by far one of my most favorite stores in NYC, not only for what they sell but who they are. The store manager and press manager, Jeremiah was the sweetest man. He went above and beyond to make our New York experience even more memorable. I will talk more of him later and more of that amazing store.

We loved Soho and Williamsburg, Times Square is so frenetic, but I loved it, the lights are unreal...

I go some really cute pieces while I was there and Scott bought me the most amazing leather jacket as an early birthday gift for me. It will keep me warm and cozy in the winter months...

New York City really is something, special. There are no words to sum up that city. It is beautiful and scary at the same time, it is loud and it is quiet. It really is something for everyone, and I feel lucky to have had the chance to be there...
